Ugo Basile抓力計可自動測量大、小鼠前肢抓力(前肢的峰值力和阻力),也通過選擇測量后肢抓力??捎糜谠u估**、**、肌肉松弛劑、**、衰老及神經損傷等對肌肉力量的影響。
將受試動物置于實驗臺上,頭前方為裝有力傳感器的抓桿(可能是T型的,也可能是網狀的或者是可供選擇的其他類型抓桿),抓桿高度可調。抓力工具有力傳感器連接到一個峰值力測定儀。當實驗人員拖動動物的尾巴時,該動物會為了阻止非本意的向后運動而本能的抓住前方的抓桿,直到實驗人員的拉力超過它的*大抓力。當動物松開抓桿時,儀器會自動記錄*大力值,并顯示在液晶屏上。儀器有一個具有內存功能的控制器和新的DCA軟件,便于信號監測、數據轉換和分析。保存的數據可以在控制器上瀏覽,也可以傳輸到電腦上,有 Excel (.xlps)或者text (.txt) 形式,可以基本滿足大部分數據處理的需求。
